Sebastian Stan played that character brilliantly. 1

fridayteenage Posted Saturday at 10:49 PM Posted Saturday at 10:49 PM feels like nsfc made a conscious effort to block anora from wins. runner-up pic, runner-up actress, runner-up director, runner-up screenplay
hausofdave Posted Saturday at 10:54 PM Posted Saturday at 10:54 PM Every lead actress to sweep the trifecta has been Oscar nominated except for Sally Hawkins (ironically also a Mike Leigh film), and every black actor/actress to sweep the trifecta has been Oscar nominated—with all of them winning except for Morgan Freeman (Street Smart)
Into The Void Posted Saturday at 10:59 PM Posted Saturday at 10:59 PM is Anora good? Im looking for a good movie but not too heavy tonight.
Bad Wolf Posted Saturday at 11:11 PM Posted Saturday at 11:11 PM Best Picture seems kind of locked, no? At least 8 of the spots? 1. Anora 2. The Brutalist 3. Emilia Perez 4. Conclave 5. Wicked 6. Dune: Part Two 7. A Complete Unknown 8. The Substance 9. Nickel Boys 10. Sing Sing I don't see "A Real Pain" breaking through here. "All We Imagine As Light" could surprise, but there doesn't seem to be enough buzz. "September 5" hasn't showed up on any of the shortlists/longlists that it's really needed to show up in. "Challengers" could surprise if it lands Editing, Score, Sound, Song, etc., but I just am not confident that's breaking through here... especially after the BAFTA longlists shut it out. 1
CaptainMusic Posted Saturday at 11:51 PM Posted Saturday at 11:51 PM It's gonna be such a mess if Erivo and Baptiste both get snubbed for Winslet in Lee. I can totally see it happening.
