stochastic Posted February 16 Author Posted February 16 I’m still holding out for a supernatural ending!! I know that was the same sentiment for S1
Hector Posted February 19 Posted February 19 That ending, WOW Jodie Foster slayed and will obviously get nominated at the Emmys this year. Very interesting season on the whole.
publikcitizen Posted February 19 Posted February 19 Great finale! Very satisfying wrap up. Curious about Spoiler The tongue and what happened to Navarro. Is she a ghost at the end?

Is she a ghost at the end? Spoiler I think Evangeline is alive because of the Hawaii mug Danvers had at the interview and how she asked Eve to come back in tsalal. It would be weird to ask her to come back as a ghost Also the house at the very end isn't Danvers' house so it made me think they reunite every now and then in secret as they promised. I really liked this season the ending is satisfying and more emotional than I thot it would be 2
flower moon Posted February 19 Posted February 19 the ending was a lot more satisfying than i was expecting! Spoiler we still didnt see exactly how the scientists were killed tho, which i was hoping would be explained. did rose have a bit to do with it? was her dancing ghost just one of their "stories"?
McNulty Posted February 19 Posted February 19 I'm sorry but the last 15 mins were terrible, how did the cleaning lady know the exact murder weapon of someone who got killed 6 years ago? like no one can even think of connecting the scientists to the murder. Also we still didn't know how did they die and why they died like that
BeachRat Posted February 19 Posted February 19 (edited) kinda iconic i must admit. Spoiler glad they moved away from the whole malicious and sinister killer reveal as it’s usually expected and instead completely turned it into a statement against gentrification and land grabbing. in a way night country turned into stolen country. Jglj Posted February 20 Posted February 20 (edited) Very satisfying ending. Overall I liked the season, still I thought the very end was a bit rushed. Edited February 20 by Jglj
Leptine Posted February 20 Posted February 20 The finale and the overall story was good also from a scientific point of view, I just wished the show would have been 8 episodes longer like the previous seasons with more exploration of the characters-situations, because it felt kind of rushed in certin moments, not sure if it's because of last year strike.

Komet Posted April 7 Posted April 7 Finally watched this, and I was liking it along the way but the last episode was so bad and dumb, it's insane. So many nonsense plot lines or straight up plotholes The dynamic between the two leads felt stale and poredictable - two seemingly ******* cops who are actually harbouring trauma and deep issues, and they seem to hate each other but surprise, they don't. I found the young Prior character much more captivating, I wish he wasn't sidelined as much and the story was told from the perspective of the mentor/student dynamic of him and Denvers. He was also lowkey the only one doing actual detective stuff I loved the setting tho. Overall it was mostly fine like s3, I'd put it below that but above s2. Season 1 seems to be untouchable. 1
