DammnBaby Posted January 1 Posted January 1 (edited) Not Anderson showing his ass as a massive Janet stan by knowing that interlude. Edited January 1 by DammnBaby 3 3
UnanimousBB16 Posted January 1 Posted January 1 What a great reminder for me to listen to the album. It's been at least a year since I last listened to it. 1
Dante Silva Posted January 1 Posted January 1 (edited) A lot has been said over the years about America being a “puritanical” culture that simply cannot come to terms with uncensored visual representations of a woman’s breasts out-with the context of porn. In Europe women bathe topless to avoid tan lines take their breasts out in public to feed babies and no-one bats an eyelid. America has a problem. Edited January 1 by Dante Silva 2

stephen1108 Posted January 2 Posted January 2 All this Damita Jo love in here Hopefully they do the album justice and they give it a proper 20th anniversary release with the Japanese bonus tracks PLUS some of the unreleased gems from the vault. They clearly have access to them because she used unheard versions of Ruff, Put It On You, and also Love Me and Pops Up! on her last two tours. I’m not holding my breath because I know Janet’s team does bare minimum when it comes to her music. We still don’t have anything from her catalogue in Dolby Atmos, and it’s 2023. She has such a massive catalogue of unreleased songs, with so many gems, and I honestly feel like Jan thinks people aren’t interested in hearing any of them Maybe all the Damita Jo usage in recent shows is foreshadowing of something good coming for the 20th anniversary, but that’s just wishful thinking tbh. 4

Damien M Posted January 2 Posted January 2 I too, eventually came to realize that Damita Jo is her best album 1
Soda Pop Queen Posted January 3 Posted January 3 Anderson lol and yas, the elder gays have taste and know to put some respek on Janet's name. 1
Psyduck Posted January 3 Posted January 3 The album was a bland retread with terrible first two singles and would've done about the same regardless of tittie exposure. 9

Anderson got me laughing so hard. He’s such a fan and I’d like to see more of that 😆 Damita Jo album & Janet deserves all the flowers. 1

He didn’t think twice about losing a friend just to keep his career in place. He is a selfish loser. Whataboutism. Justice for the black woman need not be delayed for Kathy Griffin or any other Jane-come-lately... besides Kathy was removed mainly because she was too vulgar by any objective measure. I mean she tried to suck Anderson Cooper's cock on live television. As entertaining as that is for you, it's not exactly CNN material. And it would had been strange for them to not fire her, given that no one else there would be tolerated for doing the various things Griffin did under any circumstances, on or even off camera at some random office floor. The Janet situation on the other hand, was discriminatory: she was treated differently versus her equally guilty partner in crime Justin Timberlake. Edited January 3 by Raiden

I was about to post something that Kathy said about them... it incolved cocaine and other accusations. They did her so dirty. Andy Cohen is a monster. 1
