Yesterday, Julia's star-making movie Pretty Woman (at the time one of the biggest, most global box office hits of all time) was the #3 most watched movie on Netflix globally, while Leave the World Behind is a couple weeks away from entering Netflix's all-time most watched movies. The biggest female movie star of the 90s has made a killer transition to streaming.

reese is the carrie underwood of romcoms lol, definition of local

 

but jlo wasnt local, she just wasnt nearly as big as julia. same for sandra. even tho sandra outlasted her in the late 00/10's

Although the ending to Leave The World Behind was certainly… a choice.

The movie was so promising and interesting at first. But then just didn't make any sense. The try hard "look between the lines" movies are getting tired. 

 

May December was yet another disappointment. Hollywood is struggling with plots lately and it shows.
