sciencemagic Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 House of Cards was indeed a moment and Frank Underwood was an excellent anti-hero.mp3 (those first 2 seasons at least), but Netflix was already such a big company when doing the CD delivery service. I bet they would've kicked off the streaming revolution with another actor/show as well. 3
glitch Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 We all know he did that **** let's be honest. If I were him I would've retired on my money and lived out the rest of my days avoiding the press and media 3

ATRL Moderator Popular Post Bloo Posted December 26, 2023 ATRL Moderator Popular Post Posted December 26, 2023 House of Cards was made and released around the same time as Orange is The New Black. The latter had better streaming numbers, was more popular, and was the much better show. 19 3 1

bad guy Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 Well no. OITNB elevated Netflix to compete with actual TV networks at award shows and legitimized streaming shows in the process. 1 1
Rachel Berry Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 Not when Orange is the New Black debuted around the time and had much higher viewership than House of Cards. The ladies of OITNB put Netflix on the map. 1 1 1
Marla Singer Posted December 26, 2023 Posted December 26, 2023 Not when Robin Wright carried the show. 1
