It's sad because if he transitioned into making real music I think he would've had more success than doin blasphemous quick lil gimmicky songs. 

 

'Montero' album was really promising, it had some real stuff in there and solid tracks that show off his talent and went beyond the gimmicky singles. I mean it got 85/100 on metacritic and AOTY nomination for a reason

Sadly it’s a bomb. I was kind of rooting for him… he’s one of the only gay pop stars if not the only one

I mean I personally like the song but it‘s clear the GP grew tired of his antics. He should work on more music with Ryan Tedder, TWIW was a huge hit and is still being played on radio. Tedder never fails (see Greedy).

I’m still rooting for him. There’s sooo much working against him even in 2024 homophobia (and racism) is still v much alive. I want to see him come out a winner but the gimmicks just don’t work anymore. He’s gonna have to figure out something new quick.

Yeah he needs to work with Ryan or really some of the newer pop producers (or even newer rap producers like ATL Jacob, look at Nicki’s success) LNX’s sound is starting to feel v dated and 2019 which means you need to work with new people.

Like I know he got a little cocky and the gimmicks are played out but we should be supporting our own. There aren't many of us doing it big like this

Still rooting for him too. But his career is lowkey on thin ice right now, it will take a lot of effort & a really good song to get himself out of his current situation.
