video game Rockstar Games suffers from a major leak AGAIN: GTA 5 source code leaked.

They can’t seem to catch a break. 

 

The source code for GTA 5 has been leaked online now (which was obtained during the GTA VI leaks from 2022). They had planned to release a liberty city expansion DLC for GTA 5 (which was scrapped). 7 additional single player DLC’s were scrapped to focus on GTA ONLINE.

 

The source code also had files for Bully 2 and GTA Tokyo, most likely scrapped.

Allegedly this was traded around in circles for a while until a group decided to leak it on Christmas Day as another "f uck you" to Rockstar  Kinda funny as hell, ngl. 

 

But shame seeing 8 single player dlcs get canceled for online. I loved the story so much and never touched online

They’ve always been SUPER secretive about everything, so I imagine they’re not happy about it

That's disappointing. It's obvious DLC was never happening with Online being the focus, but to see so much of it we could have had but didn't get is sad.

Rockstar has fallen off since after they released RDR2. GTA VI is about to be a disappointment, or at least not amazing like everyone is thinking, you'll see.

Why do you think that is? Also, how have they fallen off after RDR2? They haven’t released another title afterwards or are you talking about GTA online?

If you're talking about GTA Online, then I agree, it has sucked ass way before RDR 2 nn

If you're talking about GTA Definitive Edition, I also agree, although they haven't been involved in the development of this, they deserved all the lashings for approving it
