I love her excuses each time , I remember the last Mean Girls reunion everyone was there on zoom and she just did a video message. Now she won't be doing the musical either. She clearly doesn't want to be associated with a "teen movie" but knows she can't say it straightforward.

Amanda just won an Emmy last year among many other accolades and was nominated for an Oscar the year prior so not sure how that follows your has been "logic" if awards are your measurement scale (the other 2 are booked and busy and have had hit movies in their respective platforms this past year as well but sure )

she didnt just do a video message tho she did the same thing as the others? was interviewed by Katie Couric about it. she just wasnt in the zoom call at the same time as all other 10 cast members cuz she had no signal where she was hiking or whatever (as she explained and was obvious from her location)

she even still bothered doing this with them: 

 

 

 

I rly don't understand where y'all got the idea of her "not wanting to be associated" with the movie when she's done the 2 main cast reunions before this (and her career was even more popping than it is now) always has great things to say about it & says how she'd love to do another movie and play Regina again if Tina and the rest are on board too. it's pretty much the one past movie of hers she consistently acknowledges every time she leaves the house to promote a current project

The fact that she wasn't made known by the other 3 girls that they would like her to be there makes me think either 1. the other girls are jealous or don't like her.

or

2. being 3 is better than 4 since they would get a better paycheck.

 

Anyway it's very sketchy. It's clear she's not interested in doing commercials but I think she would've been down if she had known it was full quatuor reunion but they've hid that from her for sketchy reasons.
