this is so outrageous and unfair… I discovered her with Empire, she was clearly the star of the show and the reason why I stuck with it for so long

Absolutely outrageous. Not only is she one of the most successful and acclaimed black actresses in entertainment, she is one of the most successful and acclaimed actresses in entertainment PERIOD. You know you’re getting quality work whenever you sign on her to a project. I still think she was robbed of an Oscar for Hidden Figures.  Glad she is calling them out and telling people her worth. 
 

Hollywood loves to put up a facade that it’s diverse and inclusive now but I think we can all tell it’s kind of disingenuous because behind the scenes we know they’re still racist af and it’s really sad these white men in suits are still playing games with people’s livelihoods.

So sad. You would think Taraji, who has had with multiple BO hits and Emmy/Oscar nominated would get paid more. That systemic racism is still heavily ingrained in our society.
