Not only did PS5 just surpassed 50M consoles sold, they just had the biggest selling november ever...that includes PS4 and even PS2.

Meaning that even with Covid, a more expensive console, a console that actually increased in price during this year, PS5 is about to surpass the PS4 launch aligned this month...if it hasn't already, making it the fastest fully home console ever released.

Wow, it's already at 50? Feels strange, seeing that the PS4 still holds up relatively well. I still game on that and I feel like there's no pressing need to upgrade, maybe next year with the Pro if that's released. But I'm in no rush considering the lack of the stellar exclusive lineup.

Games look significantly better and run much faster on PS5.  It's not even close tbh.

Yeah of course. I meant that from a customer's point of view not a technical one - it's not a giant leap like the PS3 to PS4 transition was, and even not a necessary one to play new games (maybe they started going current-gen only this year). I understand that PS4 had a slow start re: it's library as well with lots of remasters coming out and the transition doesn't take a day, but it definitely feels slower. I don't feel like I'm missing out on that much tbh, and I'll comfortably wait for the PS5 Pro to arrive. Hopefully, ND releases Factions for it on Launch Day lmao

Great news however I feel like ps5 best years are yet to come honestly, this is a reminder that we still haven't gotten full next gen Naughty Dog game or God of War and I am expecting at least some other great gem like Returnal or maybe even Demon Souls style remake for some other classic

Yeah Sony seems to be canceling or at least not forcing their studios to make online games like they were trying to before lmao. 

Naughty Dog realized they would need the entire studio to support a single game and they didn't wan tot be stuck with a single game for like half a decade or more.

Which is funny because back in 2003 ND had no problem copying Rockstar Games' GTA formula with Jak 2, but apparently to copy GTA Online is where they draw the line
