Brandi Carlile won her 2nd Emmy Award at the Children’s and Family Emmys this weekend!

 

She won her 1st last year at the inaugural ceremony as a writer on We the People in the Best Short Form Program category. She seemingly just received the statue a year later.

They really are diluting the Emmys with so many different ceremonies. Currently it's the easiest one to win among the EGOT.

 

My fave Adele won a "real" one.

Makes sense though for the Emmys since there is so much television and types and formats. How can someone working on a pre school series (C&F Emmys) compare to someone working and competing for News Emmys or Sports Emmys.

H.E.R. SOTY was a bad win (well at least it wasn’t “If The World Was Ending”) but “Fight For You” is the best song from that Oscar lineup by a country mile.
