She is a plutocrat oligarch and she comes from a family of rich bankers. At what point did people become dumb enough to actually think she was their socially conscious best friend? It's time to face reality: she is just another uber-wealthy aristocrat doing uber-wealthy aristocrat things, which includes using private jets the way plebs use an Uber. She does not give a ****. Her entire career has served one purpose: to make the Taylor Swift corporation that she fronts and which sells songs, albums, merch and concert tickets as massively successful and profitable as possible. Did you really think she wasn't going to reap the benefits? That she was going to inconvenience herself having to fly commercial because her fans think she's a temporarily sinful saint at heart and how dare she not think of carbon emissions? Lol. 

 

Madonna flies commercial sometimes because she's notoriously stingy and cheap. But she's not doing it because of carbon emissions lol. But Madonna is that way because she grew up lower middle class and had to fight her way up to the top, couch-surfing, having to stay with shitty boyfriends for a place to sleep, really struggling hard until she finally made it in her mid/late 20s. Taylor on the other hand was born wealthy, had a major label publishing deal at 14, and was a multi-millionaire from her own music by age 16. She has never known anything but luxury in her life. She is not going to give it up for some delusional gays on Twitter.

The difference is that Taylor and Beyoncé have put themselves on the pedestal that they’re on, by feeding into the mental illnesses of their fans and creating a cult around them, whereas Madonna has never and will never give a ****. If celebrities like those two didn’t become so private and hire presidential level security to be with them 24/7, the crowds and chaos wouldn’t happen because they’d still be seen like the normal people they are.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting a private life, and there are plenty of celebrities that achieve it by just minding their own business and not publicising everything. Taylor especially basically screams from the rooftop about wanting privacy etc. but publicises every single detail of her life through her music encouraging fans to dig as deep as they can into her business, and at least in the past called the paparazzi any time she left the house.
