The final season broke me in ways i wasn't prepared for... His mom, Hannah gadsby, and his aunt ate up every single scene so bad i was crying rivers

iconic, flawless, masterpiece. the cast is incredible, the writing is immaculate, and I love the way its shot and presented. my favorite show of all time. the way it feels so real and none of the characters are caricatures and actual, flawed people... ugh

 

also, knowing now that Josh (the person) is autistic, it makes rewatching the show very rewarding since it is very personal. no wonder I related to him from the start lmao.

I learned about this show through Tumblr when I would see gifs of Wade Briggs. I bought season 1 on iTunes because it did not air in my country - but after I left for college I didn’t keep up with it. I need to watch the rest.

highly recommend you do! the way it builds on its characters and story arcs is VERY rewarding. and its so short, too.

MY FAVOURITE SERIES EVER. HANDS DOWN 

 

Only show I've watched in full multiple times. Four times to be exact 

 

When I needed comfort last year I rewatched it again and everytime it gets better. It's so relatable and a perfect balance between hilarious, beautiful and heartbreaking. It gets even more relatable the older I get 

 

I think it's really well done how the show doesn't have typical 'good' and 'bad' characters. They all do stupid or sometimes even terrible things, but they're all evenly likeable as well

The character arc of Josh's aunt in the first season alone is done soooo well! Her jamming to Steps alone in the car and then dying afterwards makes me sob every single time

One of the best written shows ever. It never declined in writing after S1 like many series tend to do.

S1 i loved cuz daddy Wade, but the entire series is amazing. How they wrote Josh's mom in her final season was so perfect.

Admittedly the pregnant cheating storyline was a bit weird.
