And yet Starlink is the only viable Internet service in many rural areas across the country. I don't support government subsidies on principle, but it's not like this money is going to be returned to the tax payers. At best it will be funneled to some other provider that will provide worse service with less coverage for rural areas, at worst it will be sent oversees to fund foreign wars. But twitter (and ATRL) get another opportunity to dunk on bad rocket man, so it's all worth it.

Good. However, that money should go to funding public infrastructure for Internet connectivity across the country. It won't though.
