Neither of them say they don't know Partition.   The sample is taken from the French dub of the film - the casual listener has no idea it's from The Big Lebowski. I'd wager many in the Hive don't even know it's from that.

 

Natalie went to see Renaissance twice and has been to every Bey tour since MCSWT and Julianne is in her 60s. I don't expect her to be driving around bumping Partition.

This is the typical general public response to any pop girl. If you ask any random GP member what their favorite lady gaga song is most of them would say poker face or bad romance not her album tracks like bloody mary.

The press likes to act like everyone knows Beyonce's album tracks and b-sides, but in reality most normies just know her singles from Dangerously In Love/B'Day/Sasha Fierce.  Beyonce is kind of like Prince in that after a while, mostly just her fanbase and those who work in music media knew their later stuff, though I do think she's kind of bigger than Prince because she's a gorgeous woman who stays in the press and didn't become an agoraphobic weirdo ala Prince.
