Tyla - Water (July 28, 2023) from the upcoming album Tyla The fact that i discovered this bop through videos of hot guys shaking their juicy asses on TikTok That's why I always root for her to become the next Main Pop Girl. YouTube Smoke kinda grew old for me but still made my list, really surprised how much I still love Water, perched for that album lowkey 9 hours ago, Mr. Blue_Shirt said: 93. Doechii - What It Is (Solo Version) (March 17, 2023) TBA They don't make breakthrough hits like these anymore. If this bop had been released in the 2000s, it would've topped several charts worldwide. YouTube 92. Janelle Monáe - Lipstick Lover (May 11, 2023) from the album The Age of Pleasure SOLO version IKTFR Love lipstick, the album is a vibe 1

Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 14, 2023 Author Posted December 14, 2023 90. IVE - Baddie (October 13, 2023) from the EP I've Mine I'm sorry, but I'm addicted to Baddie(s). It's like they're doing quirky Red Velvet concept and they're doing it flawlessly. YouTube 89. Brittany Howard - What Now (October 13, 2023) from the upcoming album What Now The lead singer of rock band Alabama Shakes will be back with her sophomore album in February next year, and my god, this is such a good ass lead single. I just know the album is going to be great. YouTube 88. Olivia Rodrigo - vampire (June 30, 2023) from the album Guts Olivia made her own version of Happier Than Ever and I don't know how I feel about it. On one side I'm happy, but on the other, I feel so bad for her because even she can't escape being taken advantage of by men much older than her, like so many young women in Hollywood to the point that it becomes a pattern that desperately needs to be fixed. YouTube 87. Karol G & Shakira - TQG (February 24, 2023) from the album Mañana Será Bonito I can't believe Shakira had back-to-back hits about sh*tting on her ex, and all of them are bops. Pique's career has already finished before 2023 even begins YouTube 86. Tkay Maidza - Out Of Luck (feat. Lolo Zouaï & Amber Mark) (October 4, 2023) from the album Sweet Justice This is boygenius if they're slayed YouTube 1
Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 14, 2023 Author Posted December 14, 2023 85. Zara Larsson - Can't Tame Her (January 26, 2023) from the upcoming album Venus One thing about Ms. Larsson is that she loves channeling her Swedish heritage so she can release one of the best pop songs of the year. YouTube 84. Tinashe - Needs (August 18, 2023) from the album BB/Ang3l The REAL queen of K-pop shows these girls how it's done, and I love it. I can't wait for K-pop girl groups to film their music videos at the grocery store. YouTube 83. Tkay Maidza & Flume - Silent Assassin (July 7, 2023) from the album Sweet Justice I'm going to suck Flume's dick all night long for making this sick ass beat and rob The Recording Academy so I can give Tkay her deserve Grammy for this. YouTube 82. Caroline Polachek - Smoke (April 6, 2023) from the album Desire, I Want to Turn Into You I just know she smoked the heaviest blunt while making this track. Even I start to levitate every time I hear this song. YouTube 81. Red Velvet - Chill Kill (November 13, 2023) from the album Chill Kill Even though I like Red Velvet more with a bright concept, there's something about them that can successfully pull off a darker concept better than any K-Pop girl group. This might not be their best title track, but it's definitely an improvement from their latest comeback. YouTube 1
Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 14, 2023 Author Posted December 14, 2023 80. Troye Sivan - One Of Your Girls (October 13, 2023) from the album Something to Give Each Other It's cracking me up to think this is the first time ever that i've seen gay people genuinely GAGGED at gay artist releasing music... maybe since Lil Nas X? YouTube 79. Ava Max - Dancing's Done (December 20, 2022) from the album Diamonds & Dancefloors Well, this is might be her best single she's ever released; no questions about it. Ava was in her ABBA's bag with this one. A darker one, I might add. YouTube 78. P!nk - TRUSTFALL (January 27, 2023) from the album Trustfall Her new album might be the most mid-record I've ever listened to this year, but P!nk went so hard with the title track. She had no choice but to break the "soccer mom music" allegation with this one. YouTube 77. aespa - Welcome To MY World (Feat. nævis) (May 2, 2023) from the EP My World I remember when Lee Soo-man said that aespa would release songs about environmentalism. Everyone, including their mama and grandparents, was having a meltdown. But now that they have released this, I may have to admit that this is their best song since the Savage era. He ate that one thing! YouTube 76. Halle - Angel (August 4, 2023) TBA This is such a strong debut single, in my opinion, because it fits her so well. Astonishingly lush production and beautiful vocals from hers truly complement each other so well that I'm just... in awe every time I listen to it. YouTube
Album Leak Posted December 14, 2023 Posted December 14, 2023 LOVE to see the Tkay Maidza praise! Silent Assassin is dope, I'm okay with Out Of Luck. Silent Justice kinda one of the best albums this year. 1
Spartak92 Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 Another set with a nope, I'll be checking the next one 1
GreatestLoveofAll Posted December 15, 2023 Posted December 15, 2023 Gosh I forgot about the P!nk song. I havent listened to the album in full and the lead was definetly not a good song but damn "Trustfall" is quite a listen. Loved that Yes for Troye- its a standout for me but i still havent gotten into it as much as the other singles. video is top notch tho Angel!! my cousin loved this song. i heard it once and she definetly has a great future imo but i wish she and her sister would give us another album. Ungodly Hour is a classic. Love the Olivia stanning, 'vampire' was the strongest lead single this year for me and i love how in step with is with her previous album but also a step forward. and Brittany howard omg?? this is a sign to keep track of her new music cause i been obsessed with her rendition of "You'll Never Walk Alone" for like, ever. 1

Yeah honestly Both Chloe and Halle's solos don't stand out enough. It's clear that both of them cannot be separated. Like these record labels, they need to realize that not all groups can produce solo superstars. But I still have hope for my girls to succeed. 8 hours ago, JGibson said: Trustfall + vampire 14 hours ago, Spartak92 said: Another set with a nope, I'll be checking the next one 19 hours ago, rvx said: Great sets 15 hours ago, Alldeezy said: Tkay + Zara + Tinashe + Troye + Ava Thank you all for coming i really appreciate 75. Jack Black (credited as Bowser) - Peaches (April 7, 2023) from the album The Super Mario Bros. Movie (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) I just know SNL writers were punching the air when they saw Bowser singing in the movie lmao YouTube 74. Tainy & JhayCo - FANTASMA | AVC (June 1, 2023) from the album Data I'm a sucker for multiple songs in one, and this song successfully pulled this off. When Tainy is good, he always makes BANGERS. YouTube 73. Caroline Polachek - Dang (October 17, 2023) TBA I don't know if this is her intention or not, but I really find this song so funny for some reason, in a good way, of course. YouTube 72. Beyoncé - AMERICA HAS A PROBLEM (feat. Kendrick Lamar) (May 19, 2023) from the album Renaissance “I’m an honorary Bey-hive” girl, get in the line! YouTube 71. Kesha - Eat the Acid (April 28, 2023) from the album Gag Order Fine Line might be boring, but Eat the Acid is not something I would expect from her, and it's really really good! YouTube
Mr. Blue_Shirt Posted December 15, 2023 Author Posted December 15, 2023 70. Slayyyter - Out of Time (June 9, 2023) from the album Starfucker The way she listened to Future Starts Now and said, "I can make this 10x better than this," and she absolutely did YouTube 69. Gorillaz - Silent Running (feat. Adeleye Omotayo) (January 27, 2023) from the album Cracker Island No matter how much the quality of their music declines, you will never make me hate these four animated losers YouTube 68. Mitski - Heaven (August 23, 2023) from the album The Land Is Inhospitable and So Are We Out of all the songs titled "Heaven" this year, this is definitely one of the best ones. Mitski is so back YouTube 67. Charli XCX - Speed Drive (June 29, 2023) from the album Barbie the Album The way Charli sampled Robyn's Cobrastyle and Toni Basil's Hey Mickey and somehow this song doesn't sound disjointed and feels like a complete song?! She really studied the Renaissance school of sample YouTube 66. Calvin Harris & Ellie Goulding - Miracle (March 10, 2023) TBA I can't believe Calvin Harris single-handely is reviving Euro-trance in the 2020s. At least he's repackaging and doing something new with his sounds compared to other DJs like David Guetta and Kygo, who only rely on nostalgia by sampling previous hits into their new music. YouTube
