Popboi. Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 100% doubt the vinyl tracklist being incomplete will affect Nicki. Billboard will count the 10 track as the "standard" version (so all future versions should have the 10 to count), Encanto's vinyl release came out after the album, months later if I'm not mistaken, so it didn't align to what they had in the database as the album.
dumbsparce Posted December 11, 2023 Posted December 11, 2023 These are good numbers for Nicki. She needs to get up and do sth though if she doesn't wanna have to go on a rant in 5 weeks when it's gone from the charts. She should take advantage of this gag city thing and shoot a mini-movie set there. I just don't understand where the Nicki who gave us Only, Beez in the Trap, Lookin Ass, The Boys etc has gone. Usually, competition lights a fire under someone's ass and makes them come harder than ever but it seems to have had the opposite effect on Nicki.

Most people were shocked in 2010 when the original Pink Friday came out and it was mostly a pop record with a few street tracks. So this is album basically the same thing. Queen was the album for "Mixtape Nicki" fans, but those fans aren't enough to give her sales/hits she wants. In my opinion, this albums sounds like a mixtape, but in a bad way. The lyrics are mix-matched to the beats, and the lyrics themselves seem random. She also seems to have run out of ideas, so she repeated the Anaconda/Super Freaky Girl formula multiple times, each new sample more jarring than the last. Red Ruby is the best song hands down, but even that was a grower.

But I never listened to albums, fully, more than once or twice so I am not completely sure.

Pink Friday was mostly Rap with Pop/R&B influences. The only songs that could be considered Pop are Fly & Last Chance tbh

dumbsparce Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 Perched for the update. I need her to either pass 200k or drop below 150k. It's been a few days since the meltdowns and I want one last final round. 3

Renan90 Posted December 12, 2023 Posted December 12, 2023 TOP 20: SEEING PINK Nicki Minaj will get her biggest opening in almost a decade as Pink Friday 2 (Republic) approaches 200k. Can it cross the line? Industry leading label Republic could also have six of the week’s Top 10. Meanwhile, RCA’s Tate McRae is heading for a first week over 60k. And it’s Christmas, Christmas, Christmas as the usual suspects remain in the Top 20. Now if you’ll excuse us, the eggnog isn’t going to spike itself. https://hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=338865&title=TOP-20%3A-SEEING-PINK
