ask Nicki since she’s the one who put her on her album :cm:

The raw Spotify numbers themselves aren’t that bothersome to me. Obviously, the Apple Music numbers will be stronger and she’ll have her fans trying to buy up material to buoy her numbers as well.

What really alarms me is how many people are clearly starting the album but not finishing the album, or are only replaying a handful of tracks. To me, this indicates a quality issue that’ll hamstring the era, even if some “forgettable fun” dance song like Everybody takes off on TikTok.

Ironically, the AI art created for this era is more creative than the album itself. Somehow the memes have more personality and intelligence than Nicki here.

You can say that Nicki is the Queen of Female Rap and use it as a way to discount underwhelming numbers and projects, but being the smartest kid in the remedial class isn’t an accomplishment. Nicki, Megan, Cardi, and the rest of the crop are all struggling from a lack of inspiration and quality output. Everybody needs to go back to the drawing board.

Beyoncé fans still trying to pretend they’re streaming experts :lmao:

This place is so toxic, kind of cringe how a lot of people here seem to get off on making her look bad.

The Album will do acceptable numbers, she‘s all over Apple Music.

I agree with this but unfortunately Nicki loves to make fun of other people's numbers so she invites this kind of scrutiny

OT: She's outdoing the rap girls this far into her career and that's impressive enough :clap3:

Nothing I said requires expert knowledge of streaming services, just generic critical thinking skills. Inshallah, one day you will have those.

I’ve always said it’s a cop out for Barbz to compare her to female rappers to make her look bigger. She’s bigger than them and they aren’t her peers. Why relegate her success to a that of a bunch of flops? :rip:

plz know who you’re quoting next time. Gracias

DeNada, Fraud.

Now all of a sudden, you’re suggesting Cardi, Megan, Eve, Doja, Kim, Azealia, Iggy, Remy, Foxy, Trina NONE of them are comparable to Onika. Gotcha! Lmfao

That's all I wanted clarification on. No Rihanna, Beyoncé no pop stars just ALL men. :rip: whew the PRESSURE :clap3:

Well deserved though lol

One day Beyoncé fans will understand what it means to slay streaming. As of now, stick to Tidal arguments bby. Y’all are more keen to understanding the ins and outs of that site than any other. Or so I heard

I know this may be shocking to you, but some of us on this site have actual jobs or degrees that provide us with portable skills (ex: data analysis), that we can use in other areas of our lives (like in online discussions).

I’m sure you graduated top of your class from Ice Spice University though.

The numbers are just okay, I expected more glad she's breaking records for female rappers tho.

Pink Friday 2: 28M (estimate)

Planet Her: 27M

Invasion of Privacy: 27M

Scarlet: 26M

On another note, it's interesting that 30M seems to be the ceiling for big female rappers. Hopefully one day we can see a rap girl truly EXPLODE on Spotify and break this pattern.

oh this is bad for her

And like you said, it doesn’t even take an expert to recognize that people stopped listening past a certain point and only picked a few faves to repeat.

Is that why the Top Ten on Apple is pretty much just her? Poor Tate

It didn’t. Because we were talking about streaming before you started dick riding.

It’s very logical almost half of Doja’s streams were from a mega smash viral single compared to an album released with no single charting :rip: It’s really not that hard to understand

Literally that’s a very valid comparison

take SFG out of PF2s streams if you want to make it more fair, it’s obv much lower since the album came so far after

And *I’m* talking about Spotify numbers, which is the topic of the thread. But I understand the Barbies have to deflect to another metric because these numbers are abysmal.

So abysmal that it’s the highest of the YEAR for female rap? What’s higher than #1?

I find it interesting how this thread has over 14 pages trying to drag these numbers yet it will still break the record for biggest debut for a female rap Album in history and her biggest album debut on the chart yet. People forget because she’s such a huge name but Nicki is a female rapper, not one of these big pop girls you all are constantly comparing her to. But I mean since she’s already washed everyone in her field, I guess we have to compare her to the big pop girls. Female Rap is not the most digestible genre and we all know this.

I also find it interesting that there has been numerous threads of PF2’s success and smashing the charts yet this is the one that has the most engagement. The bias and passive aggressive racism this site holds will never cease to shock me. It’s just sad. She still wins and still has a #1 album on lock.

Literally they will try to spin it any other way, fragile egos be fragile

You are free to dig up any posts of mine you can where I say Bey is a streaming juggernaut. They don’t exist, but you can try.

ATRL is just playing dumb today, pretending they didn't also remove Doja and Miley's big hits from their numbers for a quick drag.

Anything that fits their narrative of Nicki "flopping" I guess :rip:

We know she isn’t bby. I don’t need to search for that lol.

But I thought if the streams weren’t there then it’s indicative of the quality of one’s work? Or is that just for trolling intents and purposes?
