This place is so toxic, kind of cringe how a lot of people here seem to get off on making her look bad.

The Album will do acceptable numbers, she‘s all over Apple Music.

I find it interesting how this thread has over 14 pages trying to drag these numbers yet it will still break the record for biggest debut for a female rap Album in history and her biggest album debut on the chart yet. People forget because she’s such a huge name but Nicki is a female rapper, not one of these big pop girls you all are constantly comparing her to. But I mean since she’s already washed everyone in her field, I guess we have to compare her to the big pop girls. Female Rap is not the most digestible genre and we all know this.

I also find it interesting that there has been numerous threads of PF2’s success and smashing the charts yet this is the one that has the most engagement. The bias and passive aggressive racism this site holds will never cease to shock me. It’s just sad. She still wins and still has a #1 album on lock.

She's doing much better on Apple Music for sure.

AM’s user base is significantly smaller than Spotify’s, so…

Why would we compare a pop album to rap on Spotify of all platforms. I love me some miley but this is dense.

I mean, Drake and other male rappers are amongst the highest debuts/streams on spotify, so don't think that explains all of it. The most relevant rap girls have been problematic in at least some form, which also impacted their streams. I mean Nicki blindly supports her husband who was convicted of rape and never properly addressed the situation, instead trying to silence the victim.

Dddd :rip: She needs to get Ice Spice on the line, quick!

The raw Spotify numbers themselves aren’t that bothersome to me. Obviously, the Apple Music numbers will be stronger and she’ll have her fans trying to buy up material to buoy her numbers as well.

What really alarms me is how many people are clearly starting the album but not finishing the album, or are only replaying a handful of tracks. To me, this indicates a quality issue that’ll hamstring the era, even if some “forgettable fun” dance song like Everybody takes off on TikTok.

Ironically, the AI art created for this era is more creative than the album itself. Somehow the memes have more personality and intelligence than Nicki here.

You can say that Nicki is the Queen of Female Rap and use it as a way to discount underwhelming numbers and projects, but being the smartest kid in the remedial class isn’t an accomplishment. Nicki, Megan, Cardi, and the rest of the crop are all struggling from a lack of inspiration and quality output. Everybody needs to go back to the drawing board.

Who is finishing a 22 track album other than stans? SZA got lucky. This NEVER works.

Nicki deserves more streams....  let me go Stream the album :gaycat1:

The saddest part is that he has separate receipts for each album. This grown man made the cashier check out each album separately so they would definitely all count for first week sales. So pathetic :deadbanana4:

Acting like self checkouts don’t exist, give me a break. You’re pathetic actually. Let people do what they want to do and stop judging others

The Spotify numbers are weak, Apple Music great

The amount of coping in this thread. :toofunny2: First it was that Nicki is on the same level as Beyonce and is a super star. Now it is "she is just a rapper and you have to remember rap does not get as many streams as other genres". :rip: Her barely passing Doja and Cardi despite supposedly being much bigger than her. Yikes!

SZA didn't get lucky, she actually made a good and cohesive album, something super freaky grandma is yet to do

Now NONE of the women are her comp :lmao:

Love it. So stop comparing to them. Immediately :clap3:

I’ve always said it’s a cop out for Barbz to compare her to female rappers to make her look bigger. She’s bigger than them and they aren’t her peers. Why relegate her success to a that of a bunch of flops? :rip:

plz know who you’re quoting next time. Gracias

Using a self check-out to buy over a dozen albums separately to manipulate charts doesn’t make it any less pathetic but thanks for the personal insult :dies:

It must be weird to stan both these women considering Nicki worked with Kesha’s abuser :doc:

My point was merely just because you’re the Queen doesn’t mean you’re always going to outsell, and career longevity of female pop artists to female rap artists is not comparable.

So she doesn’t have the numbers anymore. She doesn’t have the beats anymore. She doesn’t have the bars anymore. She never had the Grammys to begin with. She never had a solid body of work regarded as a rap classic album because she’s mostly pop. IOP accomplished everything she couldn’t in just one era, and it’s like she gave up cuz she’s not even trying anymore. Cardi, Megan, and Doja are all eating her up so what really does she have going for the title of queen of rap? A guest verse on a song she released 13 years ago? Because if you continually have to add *s to her “accomplishments” then that’s no queen behavior :deadbanana4:

So I am not going to listen to Nicki who I also enjoy, not stan, because she worked with Luke? Give me a break. A lot of artists have worked with him, doesn’t mean I can’t separate art from the artist.
