all I’ve seen for the past couple weeks are the unicorns comparing Renaissance to this :gaycat7:

And they think she’s on par with them lololol that’s why they stay obsessed with the newer rap girls only and trashing them cuz she’s not on the same league as her actual peers

Or maybe they’re comparing rappers to rappers and not pop? Lmfao

Scarlet did 16M without PTTR. So Nicki got nearly 2x more streams than her biggest competitor, how is this bad?

Anyway I’m interested to see how Everybody grows over time, since it’s smashing on Apple Music and TikTok :clap3:

Nicki is really going to debut with more than Renaissance, SOS, Fearless (TV), and For All the Dogs. That POWER came back full force!

A few songs are going viral on Tik Tok now she just needs to make Everybody a single and do some dam promo. I think she’s in amazing shape compared to what those would’ve expected Post Queen Era

Barb logic is so ******* funny :dies:

“It got 1.75X (2) more streams when you remove songs from the other album so these numbers are actually great!”

It’s very logical almost half of Doja’s streams were from a mega smash viral single compared to an album released with no single charting :rip: It’s really not that hard to understand

Sweetie I’m making a point about Nicki’s streams being stronger across the board and not just carried by one big hit. Don’t reduce my post to “barb logic lolz” :rip:

This is not 2014 to compare this album with the Roman Reloaded compare it with the Queen. I am not even a Nicki stan.

Imagine comparing Chromatica with Born This Way.

Wbk she's a flop since like 2015.

A motherf*king DISASTER, but it's what her nasty ass deserves.

Pink Friday 2: 28M (estimate)

Planet Her: 27M

Invasion of Privacy: 27M

Scarlet: 26M

On another note, it's interesting that 30M seems to be the ceiling for big female rappers. Hopefully one day we can see a rap girl truly EXPLODE on Spotify and break this pattern.

Unless she debut something like 90k on BB200 I don’t consider this number is bad

Delete that tweet, there are no any prediction yet, and very probably won't debut with +200k (which is veery good)

I’m thankful for the Twitter Barbz keeping us updated with the REAL numbers! I wonder if she can pass 450K?

The raw Spotify numbers themselves aren’t that bothersome to me. Obviously, the Apple Music numbers will be stronger and she’ll have her fans trying to buy up material to buoy her numbers as well.

What really alarms me is how many people are clearly starting the album but not finishing the album, or are only replaying a handful of tracks. To me, this indicates a quality issue that’ll hamstring the era, even if some “forgettable fun” dance song like Everybody takes off on TikTok.

Ironically, the AI art created for this era is more creative than the album itself. Somehow the memes have more personality and intelligence than Nicki here.

You can say that Nicki is the Queen of Female Rap and use it as a way to discount underwhelming numbers and projects, but being the smartest kid in the remedial class isn’t an accomplishment. Nicki, Megan, Cardi, and the rest of the crop are all struggling from a lack of inspiration and quality output. Everybody needs to go back to the drawing board.

Why would we compare a pop album to rap on Spotify of all platforms. I love me some miley but this is dense.

this is kinda bad when you consider how many more users there are on Spotify now than in 2018/2021 :michael:
