Yikes. Barbz, it’s okay to admit these Spotify numbers aren’t good. lol

At least the album will debut at #1.

Seeing that one user multiple times on every page, defending EVERY post in here (for no reason), you just have to laugh :dies: Just enjoy the music y'all, idk why numbers even matter to you if you're an actual fan :spin:

OT: If she broke the record for highest female rap debut, then this obviously should not be considered a "flop"? And also did you guys not just witness this messy rollout? Idk what #s you guys were expecting but it seems on par considering everything. All of this commotion and it's not even her best album! Save your energy.

This pretty much. This rollout has been messy af. We honestly should've expected worse than this when 36 hours ago some of us didn't even think the album was coming out on time :rip:

Now girl you know damn well this comparison doesn’t work. Madonna’s career is over 40 years old, of course she won’t be streaming like more modern artists. Nicki’s career however is 16 years old (13 from her major debut) so she should more than be able to be ahead of her peers from just a few years ago.

My point was merely just because you’re the Queen doesn’t mean you’re always going to outsell, and career longevity of female pop artists to female rap artists is not comparable.

I’m doing it to educate the duds, girl. People need to learn how to have REALISTIC expectations if they want to have serious chart discussions, not just for Nicki but for EVERY artist. It happens ALL the time on here and it’s embarrassing.

Why does someone labeled as Queen Of Rap produces such abysmal numbers? :lakitu:

Are Barbz actually the Snyderverse/DCEU Fans of pop fandoms?? :santa:

She’s still doing better than the girls though :rip:

Does anyone know what her opening week numbers look like? Or her pure sales? It seems like she’s heading for 180-210k debut week

Apparently her website preorders is 45k or so. I don’t think anyone, even those on this site, know her actual pure sales so you’ll have to wait for HDD.

Nicki Minaj is the female rap version of Taylor Swift : Their numbers are driven by their huge and loyal fanbases and no one outside their fanbase is listening to them .

I expect these numbers to crash a lot over the week too, sadly .

Taylor debuted 17M with one song. Stop comparing her to Nicki
