didn't she gain the mainstream attention because of the Make You Feel My Love cover?

The way i've heard singers sing her songs waaaaay better than her is so funny to me, also i'd argue one of her most moving vocal performances is actually To Make You Feel My Love which she didn't write.

This is funny considering she stans Beyonce who doesnt write her stuff :priceless:

Except Beyoncé does write her music and is involved in every aspect of her music's creation though. So not really that "funny". :toofunny3:

Kudos for honesty, but since when does she become this obnoxious?

Damn using someone terminally ill who played Someone Like You for Taylor, just for a quick cackle. :biblio:

If you watch interviews and stuff with her from 10-15 years ago she was so likeable and funny. The change in the last decade, but especially the last three years or so, is sad.

She could have worded that much differently. I understand what she's trying to say, but she carried on too much to the point where her response is just a misfire.

There are only 2 singers I never heard anyone singing their songs better: Christina Aguilera and Mariah Carey!

There was obviously a shift in her personality between 25 and 30 eras. Seems like now she feels 'untouchable' and fame went up to her head

I mean I get her and think this is camp diva behaviour that I'm lowkey here for, but also... it's not like Adele's songs are extremely specific. She purposefully writes universally relatable music, which is fine and valid and there might be something personal to her in it, but let's not act like she's the only person who went through a breakup or had a child. sorry those arent better than Adele

Kelly made a better cover than the original singer Carrie

that's an example of how you can make a better version than the original

I get this is subjective, but imo Kelly can’t hold a candle to Carrie on this song. Kelly may have the more technically proficient voice, but her approach to this was all over the place. Carrie’s straightforward and powerful push, particularly on the last chorus, really sells this song like no one else can.

Whitney made an excellent and different cover version of Dolly's original, but I like both equally.

I don't blame Adele but I don't like the way it's worded.

No one will be able to sing 'Someone Like You' better than Adele, tho.

I agree, i bet she watched this before making that statement

so ******* terrible! what a way to ruin a good song, disgusting tbh.

On one hand, this arogant AF, and makes no sense coming from a Bey stan.

OTOH, this quote is giving me old school diva, and I'm kind of into it. IDK, I like when female celebs are confident enough to show actual personality. :michael:

So weird that people are trying to drag Beyoncé into this, who has written many of her songs and is involved in every aspect of her music creation. :rip:
