Bloodflowers. Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 The champions of democracy strike again! Over 4 million Democrat voters won't be able to cast their votes in Florida. They held a private, secret meeting a month in advance and came out with statement that only Biden will be on the ticket, meaning no primary will be held as they elected Biden by default. Currently there are several Democratic opponents running againt currently historically low unpopular President Biden, including Congressman Dean Phillips and Progressive democrat Marianne Williamson who is currently the most popular opponent, pulling the same size of support as Ron DeSantins over at the Republican party. She's the only Jewish woman running for the Office and has been banned from participating in Florida primary elections. 1
GraceRandolph Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 It's time to end this two party tyranny, and move away from the UNdemocratic party, and their unpopular corporate candidates.

OT: Kathy Hochul of NY also refused to do debates. Is this the future of politics now? Behind-the-scenes talks for who will represent them?
Kassi Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 The Florida Democratic Party submitted only President Biden's name for the presidential primary ballot by the Nov. 30 deadline, leading to him being the automatic winner under Florida state law, as no other candidates were nominated. The candidate submission process was transparent and routine. The other candidates didn't get any votes. And it's not the party's role to promote candidates. Bending the rules for latecomers would be anti-democratic. 1

Your link makes this worse, not better. Edited December 6, 2023 by Communion 1 1
monologueNacafe Posted December 6, 2023 Posted December 6, 2023 If the deadline was 11/30 and they held the vote a month early in secret how is that not a problem
spree Posted December 7, 2023 Posted December 7, 2023 I don't understand how this is acceptable. Yea Marianne would never win, but this isn't right. Are they afraid people would write in Gavin Newsom?

RunUpDoneUp Posted December 8, 2023 Posted December 8, 2023 I love how to combat fascism the dems are coalescing against democratic voter rights like holding a primary. Truly a clown factory opposition.
