She is a true ally! She hasn’t done anything effective though. LGBQT hasn’t been granted or given anything because of Jelena Karleusa. All these things were fought tooth and nail by common LGBTQ people on Balkans and it is still sh!tfest in regards to it. Everything you named here is a result of Western influence through media and due to changes that were being brought via digital and social online culture. And like said here as well, everything positive she has been “standing up” for LGBQT is now scrapped since she has chosen to support leading political party whose stance on these issues aren’t that positive. Jelena Karleusa is borderline spineless person who doesn’t really have substantial opinion on anything and who just likes to present herself in sensational vein. She only cares about her convenience. She was right to choose celebrity route ( despite being dire in that ) instead of actively releasing music because her new project just confirms she doesn’t navigate well musically anymore.
