Good for her for standing through it and coming out on the other side. On one hand I get Nancy wanting to keep everyone in line and the party. On the other hand retire old bag and let the new generation take over. Whether or not you like AOC to me doesn't matter. The democrats HATE actual opposition to republicans, they just want to be "good enough" so that people rightfully, vote for them over them. She doesn't want to be the one to get her hands dirty by withholding votes, drawing hard lines, etc. which would give her a few days of negative headlines. Yeah I'm sure Nancy gave you headaches, but why didn't you give her even more? Why are you just complaining about it after the fact? If progressive politicians want to actually achieve things they have to learn to stop giving af which toes they step on or guardrails they go against. The Tea Party and now MAGA Republicans have always had a very bold and take no prisoners approach. I used to have so much hope for her, watching her take down corrupt republicans in scathing lashings. Unfortunately, AOC hasn't done anything to further the progressive cause since 2019. Madame Pelosi, however, has forever left her mark on American politics. A feminist baddie of historical proportions who kept ALL the girls in line; the face of resistance against Trµmp. AOC (aka Always on Camera) is awful and one of the least productive members of Congress.
