Diddy wanted to prostitute Danity Kane!

Somehow this isn't surprising at all...

Are we surprised? He is scum. I'm glad Cassie got her bag but I hate how quickly the settlement meant his evil psychotic demonic cruel behaviour was swept under the carpet. Cassie (and undoubtedly countless victims) need justice!

He did tho. Used them and ruin thier contracts within a year and is why they are on a indefinite hiatus

Yeap the whole quick settlement thing kinda ruined the momentum before anyone could get the courage to come forward, he knew what he was doing with that move .

Time for Aubrey, D.Woods and Aundrea to speak out together. File that lawsuit and get your deserved coins! :duca:

This is could be  why Aundrea seemed so traumatized by the industry. She was the one who abandoned it. Diddy seemed intent on breaking her. He was harder on her than the other girls during mtb. When she came back for the second album she seemed over it. She was the only one not to try and go solo even though she was the fan favorite.

Even dawn said Aundrea was done with the industry due to trama. D woods said her boyfriend said diddy was using pimp tactics on the group

I hope they get him.

Glad more things are coming to light now that people started feeling a bit safer in numbers to talk. But sad that so many people were hurt.

The music industry is disgusting and there are probably so many other people like him.

I hope DK gets their justice. What he did to them is disgraceful. They deserved so much better

It's time for the music industry to have its own Me Too movement.

R.Kelly?

OT: I believe it. I'm surprised most of the members of Danity Kane hasn't sued him yet ( I doubt Dawn will...unless he kept her for a reason).

True. I hate when older dudes try to pretend they don't know something. HE KNEW the group was called Danity Kane. That's not a name you guess right. Trying to be too cool and then quickly without hesitation said Aubrey's name later on.

Other than that, yes that's the name of the game: sign desperate for fame and money artists, get them isolated from family and friends, get them hooked up on drugs, sell them out and toss them to the side when you are done with them.

They do that with a lot of rappers minus selling them out. The idea is tom ake sure they lose leverage before reupping a new contract for more money.

By the time the new contract is due most don't sustain their level of success and are broke...so what do the labels do...tell them they can release them IF the artist gives up their publishing rights and no longer gets paid for the song outside of royalties which dwindle and only are issued twice a year.

It's all an advanced game and if you can make it out on the other side unscathed then consider yourself lucky.

Now, the question is: why did MTV crown that clown this year at the VMAs when part of the industry was aware of the ongoing abuse? Like, I’m sure MTV knew.

R. Kelly was ONE instance. :rip: Let's not act like this kind of behavior isn't widespread in the industry.

Doesn't surprise me... just watching MTB clips, you can see it in the way he spoke to them...a mess

Isn't that what we essentially did to [most] of his female groups? I'd LOVE to hear the members of Dream speak on their truths, especially Melissa Schuman & Kasey Sheridan.

He is so f***ing gross

The industry :deadbanana4:

I'm really afraid for Bee the day her husband will get exposed. Hope she will divorce him by then :biblionny:

From those alleged Cassie tapes, to the surgeries, to this, it takes a level of psychopathy to treat people like things you can own and do whatever you want with :doc:

I'm saying R.Kelly has been the catalyst.

Also in the last 2 months, Jason Derulo, Jimmy Ivione and L.A. Reid all have their own lawsuits. It's happening.
