GardenPanty Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 (edited) The following is an excerpt from their 2023 AR. It is important to note that Cardi B had many unsuccessful era launches the past few years. Could this be the end of the female rapper? Edited November 24, 2023 by GardenPanty 1
airplane Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 (edited) They’ve been dropping these hints for a while now. In one of their press releases from earlier this year, Atlantic did not mention Cardi at all and stated that they would rather invest in artists like Lizzo who can sell out venues globally. She’s a non-factor in their discussions now. It’s over for her. Edited November 24, 2023 by airplane
truthteller Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 people who can sell merch and tour are the ones that they would be interested in investing tbh...

Alex Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 looks like it's time for Atlantic to sign Bree Runway in place of Cardi B! 5

KatyPrismSpirit Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 They probably lost millions upon millions on Cardi B over the recent years. Spending $2M on a music video for a song that was a colossal flop 1
Alex Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Just now, GardenPanty said: they're trying to make money not lose more Investing in an artist who doesn't rely on reference tracks, writing camps or needs multi-million dollar music videos (without ROI) can do wonders for the label and is clearly what they're looking for in 2024. Keep up! 3
KatyPrismSpirit Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 (edited) I think dropping Cardi B would be correct business wise. She does not want to tour (huge money waste), she doesn’t want to release other music, they can’t recoup money since she has high budgets and low returns the last 3 years, her fanbase is shrinking and she is more focused on business outside of music. It makes no sense to keep her on the roster. What they need to do is sign new artists and finally put some money into Ravyn Lenae to make her the new AALIYAH Edited November 24, 2023 by houdini 2 1 1
X~MoviePoP Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Yall r foolish. U dont drop someone whose streaming and sales is still bringing money in. Shes fine 1

Just a Gay on ATRL Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Honestly if they drop her I understand the decision.
Kayseri Mantisi Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Nicki Minaj is dropping Pink Friday 2 and Cardi B is dropping herself 1
Saint James Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 and the source is... a barb? lol. why would Warner be referring to an artist that goes top 20, number one on radio and certified with every single? 1 3
kellebrity98 Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 now lets thank Kelly Clarkson for saving Atlantic. With zero promo she can sell out tours, have albums with 50k+, everyone loves her so she can promote her art in every radio or show and having one of the most watched and critically acclaimed talk show of all time 1
illia Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 That "2 million dollars MV" is going to haunt her for the rest of her career

Bhabylon Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 Y’all always make these threads citing Barbz and Cardi trolls as sources and end up hiding them once you get clocked 1 2
BryceG Posted November 24, 2023 Posted November 24, 2023 WMG didn't write or publish anything of the sort. This is fake.
