Ana’s family deserves everything under the sun they can get from this company. I hope justice is served, not that it could ever replace a child’s life.

It just reminds me so much of Woodstock '99. Hopefully they make it right the best they can, granted nothing will ever bring the victim back. They clearly acted unscrupulously and should be investigated from top to bottom to ensure justice for the family and that this can never happen again. There's nothing fun about torturing your guests and putting them in unsafe conditions.

 

As for Taylor, I'm shocked they're the promoter spoke out first and that she has said nothing. I gave her the benefit of the doubt the first two days, but I find her delayed silence beyond careerist and indicative of a larger problem with her celebrity. She's not at fault that her fans were put in danger, nor is she to blame for the victim's death, but the silence is heartless.

In my eyes, an immediate public statement was still necessary given that all of her fans were in danger. It’s just a common courtesy that shows you’re not blind to the chaos that your own presence can cause (even Woodstock 99 held a press conference the day after the riot). She’s not at fault for what happened, but I don’t think this was handled properly by her team at all. Especially in light of some of the theories that were presented on this forum.

 

I am happy though that she and the family have found a common ground. I wish them nothing but the best and hope Taylor and her management learn something profound from this experience.
