Of course, they're back together after Cheryl's solo career flopped.

When they reunited, Cheryl had 3 successful eras and they split on the last date of the tour because she wanted to continue her career and made Nadine upset.

I mean, Cheryl did want to continue her solo career, but A Million Lights doing pretty poor despite the massive lead single was a clear sign her solo superstardom was on it's way out.

You’ve got to look at it context, we could of possibly never got this tour but who knows they may change their mind, just let’s not get out hopes up and just enjoy this.

It's odd how Cheryl gave up. Her fourth and latest album in 2014 had two #1 singles in the UK, though the album underperformed (#7) and its third single flopped. There was also no tour. Even still, that's a great success in my view, and since then she's only released two standalone singles (one in 2018 and the other in 2019). Despite getting flack for lip syncing, she is a pretty strong performer to this day and her A Million Lights Tour is pretty entertaining.

I guess her priorities in life have changed. It's sad that she's probably most remembered for that talent competition.

The leakers were so adamant about new music and a superhero themed music video. :deadbanana2:

It's giving major missed opportunity but life goes on.

These songs are the ones I'd like most:

Spoiler

Sound Of The Underground

The Show

Jump

Biology

Something Kinda Oooh

Sexy!... No No No!

Call The Shots

The Promise

The Loving Kind

Untouchable

I'd also love Call My Name (or a few more of Cheryl's solo music but it's not realistic), Go To Wurk and Beat Of My Drum.

In 2014, she went back to X Factor, that's when she released her last album. The first two singles went #1. There were signs, yeah, but she was done with Girls Aloud.

There was no tour for Only Human cause it performed badly and she was in disagreements with her label, leaving them soon after. After Let You flopped she just focused on motherhood and some passion projects of her like going to the West End.

Edit: Actually I remember there was going to be a tour for OH at one point, I even remember making the thread for it dddd, the numbers surely played a role.

"There is no new music and there is no video - although we've shot a commercial," says Nadine Coyle.

"Making new music without Sarah would be odd," confirms Cheryl. "But celebrating what we made together? Fabulous."

I’m out of the country when they tour Scotland. I’d have LOVED to go to this :jonny:

She ruled out an OH tour from the very start. I remember she was asked at X Factor auditions and she straight out said a tour isn't in her plans. By 2014 she seemed completely jaded with being a popstar, and by the time she had rediscovered her passion for it she had been out of the industry too long to keep having commercial success.

It would be a huge missed opportunity if Cheryl doesn't perform her solo hits. Myself and some others are buying tickets purely to see her (her solo career is arguably bigger than GA, but unfortunately she retired when her comeback flopped).

Fergie similarly performed her solo music on The Black Eyed Peas The E.N.D. World Tour, so I hold out hope!

They won't have solo sections, that would be plain messy for Kimba dddddd

The setlist will probably be similar to Ten in song choices + a few like Hear Me Out as a tribute to Sarah.

Oh I didn't know there was going to be an Only Human Tour, was it announced?

To be fair I'd say the lip-syncing accusations plus the media generally criticizing her had an impact on her sales.

Also I love the phrase dddd, an iconic phrase from Popjustice!
