She doesn’t need a talent agency, she’s an icon

don't think her comment was particularly helpful, but yeah many people got away with A LOT worse.

She's a legend. She might miss a couple opportunities now (which she doesn't need anyway) but she will be a winner in the long run.

The way this wasn't even pro-Palestine and yall are still praising her :deadbanana2:

ATRLers experienced so much joy on Oct 7th that they forgot to put their "Anti-zionist" mask back on :deadbanana2:

I literally don’t understand how execs are firing people for saying GENOCIDE is bad.

Because they're in favor of it.

"There are a lot of people afraid of being Jewish at this time, and are getting a taste of what it feels like to be a Muslim in this country, so often subjected to violence,” Sarandon told the rally, as she pointed to American Jews fearful over rising antisemitism.

and is this the Pro-Palestine comment in the room with us? :doc:

She should've worded herself better "Jews got a taste of what being Muslim in America is" as if Jews are to blame for stereotypes. And there's always been antisemitism in the west. This is like saying after the 00s "Arabs got a taste what being black in America is."

She should've said that stigma towards Jews and Muslims in America is mutual  and not make such a blunt comparison.

Her stance against Israeli aggression towards Palestinians is right though.

Yes, thank you for saying this so I didn't have to :intoit: Jewish people are the targets of the overwhelming majority of anti-religious hate crimes in the US and that's backed up by statistics year after year released by the FBI. This was an extremely tone deaf statement from her and it will be used to yet again tar the entire pro-Palestinian side as anti-Semitic. She should know better and realize that when you're in a war of propaganda, you can't afford to make gaffes like this.

Mind you talent agencies are quicker to drop her for this than rapists and abusers (that still get work today). Never change Hollywood :juanny:

I cant! I just ******* cant!

*giggles hysterically* from despair and disgust.

Susan, you're by far the most respectful actress on that nest of snakes that is PedoWood :clap3:
