Movimento Perpétuo Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Taylor has been lashed everywhere in Brazil for this. Her team should do something asap, it's not looking cute for them at this point 1
Dear Reader Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 7 minutes ago, on the line said: Respectfully, she probably is being very careful from a legal standpoint. I don't know Brazillian laws but there are ways she could found responsible for this fans death and offering outright to cover costs could be considered admission of guilt. Fans need to chill and let things work out themselves. It's Taylor, she's going to make it right as soon as she can. I get where you’re coming from and I see your point of view. But she/her team could be making this is a gesture and a donation. Even if it’s not directly her fault, I think that would be the right thing to do. I don’t know how admission of guilt works in Brazil or in any country to be perfectly honest, but I really doubt law would see this as an admission of anything if it was explicitly said it was a donation.
IBeMe Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 This showcases the complete failure of the Brazilian government. Shame on them. This is all so damn heavy...I feel horrible for her family and I do hope fans are able to pool money together if not Taylor and her team. Tragic all around 1

Carry My Heart Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 All funds have already been covered. Truly incredible initiative by the fans! Hopefully Taylor still pulls through and helps out however she can. It's jarring that she missed her window to reach out (unless she has and it isn't public yet) 7

It's insane but happy there are some lovely Swifties that did their part. 3 1
k4rmabutterfly Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Crazy how Taylor fans are defending her and her team, contacting the family should’ve been the first attitude taken after they knew about the death. This is common sense, even Travis tried to help the families of Astroworld wtf is that? And brazilians already helped the family and the mother thanked the swifties and the public who helped. 7 1

Beyonnaise Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Why does it feel like some of you are desperately wanting to find reasons to blame Taylor for her death It’s getting weird. Taylor is going to pay the victim’s family if she hasn’t already by now. This becoming a stan war is unsurprising but vile. 2

Venice B Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Yeah we all know Taylor shouldn't be blamed for all of this and it's not her job to handle these things... but at the same time I can't help but wonder how she and her team would be acting if this whole thing had happened in the US. It's all very disturbing. 2 3 1

Last Boy on Earth Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 No matter how much downvoting and excuses the swifties on this website make, this is disappointing. At least the twitter girls are moving and doing something instead of spending their days wasting time doing damage control. Hopefully her team will do something when some more headlines about the case are published 13 2 1
campelo Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 (edited) I am going to see her next year but this is so ****** up in all ways possible Honestly, Taylor Swift is a BILLIONAIRE, and fan clubs are crowdfunding to pay for the body of a fan who died at a concert? There is a limit to how much you can wipe… T4F and Taylor are responsible for these expenses. The fact that she doesn't mention anything in the show is also a legal and PR strategy There's a father and a mother mourning the death of their daughter who traveled to fulfill her dream of going to Taylor's show and left there DEAD and the father and mother still haven't been able to mourn their own daughter's body, much less take their daughter to the city where she lived while Tay's production doesn't give a **** Edited November 20, 2023 by campelo 12 3 1

People die every day here and there is no help with funeral costs, just like in any other country in the world. The government is not going to act differently because it happened with Taylor Swift. From the government POV someone died at a private event. This is between the parties involved in such event. T4F is the one that should’ve acted swiftly, but they probably were waiting for a confirmation if they had any responsibility, since the cause of death was, as of yet, pure speculation from everyone. She could’ve had underlying conditions or even used drugs before the concert in their POV. It’s cruel but companies are not by nature altruistic. They need to be deemed responsible for something to act and an investigation is ongoing 1

Stop acting like a sheep, she doesn’t even know you. What questionable behavior is that, exactly? Not publicly yelling from the rooftops the specific details of how she’s trying to handle the situation on her end? It’s not like the family have come out and said “Taylor Swift refused to help us.” People are jumping to portray her as a villain here over a legitimate tragedy when they literally have no way of knowing everything about the situation. You do not know whether Taylor Swift or her team have reached out to help or how they have done so. I do not know whether they have. Neither of us know what they can and cannot do because of any ongoing investigations into the incident. None of us will know until and unless someone directly involved in the situation actually says something about her degree of involvement. Automatically assuming that Taylor and her team are privately just doing nothing just because she’s somehow a greedy, selfish person who doesn’t care about what happened, just to make digs at her and her fans over a legitimate tragedy, is weird. 4

CaptainMusic Posted November 20, 2023 Posted November 20, 2023 Taylor is one of the few pop girls who seems to actually appreciate her fans (despite milking them for everything nnn) So I’m sure she’ll pay for this.
