They're not fake - they sent out invites for fans ahead of time.

I wasn’t aware that did that for every performance. The BBMAs were usually done in a big venue live so this just felt very different

I think it was new this year because they didn't air it as they traditionally did.

Mariah is a legend and nothing people say on here will change this. 91 weeks at #1 is iconic.

Billboard got it right, the Scammys and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame need to give her her flowers.

I don't think she'll get Scammy recognition again until she passes, but I do hope her R&R HoF induction happens while she's still alive. The Songwriters Hall of Fame clearly was very moving for her.
