She had gone into hospice care on Friday. Former president Jimmy Carter, now 99, has been in hospice since February. She was 96.

 so sad she went so fast after the announcement the other day . will be sad as well when Jimmy goes who  did so many good things after leaving the White House.

We knew she had dementia but she was well enough to ride around as a passenger in that clip about a month ago so she must have declined quickly. Condolences to her friends and family.
