She's right. It's interesting how 95% of those new "popgirls" all name Britney Spears as one of their main influences.

Every girl (and gay) growing up in the 2000s had Britney as the ultimate pop girl icon. Of course they all cite her as an influence. Only now have critics and such begin to catch up and now respect her and give her her dues. But the girls and gays knew it back then.
