For context, on Taylor's song 'You're On Your Own, Kid' from Midnights, there's a lyric that says "so make the friendship bracelets, take the moment and taste it. You've got no reason to be afraid." and because of it, Swifties made friendship bracelets for the Eras Tour and traded them with each other when they met at shows.

The bracelets, quite clearly. They’ve even bled over to other artist’s shows/tours, and even other areas of entertainment. 
 

This “mute challenge” never made it out of a few threads online in the pop stan culture.
