I could see this being a nine figure settlement. But my god. Awful all around.

Ok, I’m trying to remain sympathetic but her settling after a day it is not it. If all the awful stuff is true, then he needs to be held accountable or you are enabling him to continue doing with other people besides yourself.

He was only ever going to pay even if she won the lawsuit anyway ,this just cuts all the time wasting in legal battles .

But I do get what you mean in a way because if he's able to just basically move on like normal,he'll probably become even worse :rip:

Hope like in the Weinstein case, his many other victims come forward. Take that guy down.

It's not fair money and intimidation can buy silence.

He probably gave her a lot of money and threatened her in some way if she insisted in taking him down in court. This is how these people work.

Listen, i get some are disappointed about the settlement but Diddy GOT EXPOSED. WE can't UNKNOW this and his rep is in the mud.

If she filed for 30M and he settled she at least got 20M.

I hope she gets the healing she needs to move on. Diddy's brand is trash and he is getting some sort of accountability. Settling doesn't make him look innocent at all.

I hope more victims come out and he keeps throwing money at them to PROVE how true it is. I would like to see criminal action but that might come from Cassie. It might come another way.

Caresha, all money ain't good money

Happy for her but I hate how everything is resolved with money. Like I get it, money is never frowned upon and can help you pay for therapy and other things but I'm always left with this feeling that there's no real justice served. Like the trauma is gonna be there even with all the money in the world. Then again, nothing that can be done to the abuser will heal that (unless maybe they do the same to them). At least people now know what kind of person he is.

It's different now because the calls are coming from inside.

Clive has trashed Puffy and Puffy is not going to have as much support or power as you think. He's had some issues behind the scenes to indicate the tide is turning.

THIS is the time to make the move. Whether or not he lands in prison, Cassie WILL get a payout for her pain and suffering and ruin Puffy's brand going forward...and we thank her for this.

Puffy HATES women but loves control - I'm just going to leave it at that and put it on da floor and leave it there for now.

slw84 the oracle.

Any company supporting Diddy's brand is pure trash and i will NEVAH support them again.

I love that Diddy panicked and shelled out the cash. ADMISSION OF GUILT.

Ain't no damn innocent person willing to settle for THESE ALLEGATIONS (altogether).

I
HAAAAAAAAAAAAATE
PUFFFYYYYY

R Kelly and Puffy are the only celebs in this world that I've truly hated since the 90s.

Puffy is closeted and narcissistic and he's mad he isn't naturally attracted to women so instead of just being his true self he takes advantage of innocent women and abuses and controls him.

That cuck tea confirms it.

I want to put hands on him/

HE NEEDS HIS MUTHAFATHA AZZ… lemme stop.

He has me heated in the morning. He deserves the worst and I hope he gets it. Let me stop typig before I get banned

He has been held accountable. Whether or not he did it (which I'm inclined to believe he did), the reputational damage is huge. He never ever would have wanted this out and yet his dirty laundry is on front street.

The money she is due (which was always going to be the case anyway as it was a civil not criminal case) probably ties her up in all sorts of NDAs. But the fact she got her version of events out **first** before ever signing anything prohibiting her from speaking is actually a masterstroke move.

I'm almost leaning toward believing that this was always going to be her legal strategy all along.

Tell her story via the filing, which in turn makes him sit up and pay attention to her demands, he then opens the wallet...she can feel free that her story has been told, saved herself a long legal case, and theoretically doesn't have to speak on this again.

As wild as the details she shared were, those were probably just the tip of the iceberg. Had he been summoned to court to answer to the lifestyle he clearly leads, he'd be more finished than he is now.

His paying her is him trying to salvage the image he built up (as I'm sure we were about to hear a whole lot of craziness in depositions). Even if he had a few rebuttals, it's virtually impossible that he would have been able to sufficiently clap back.

It's a complicated win for her, but a win nonetheless.

This, I believe so too, she has a family their safety comes first.

I hope he gets exposed though, this means that everything in that lawsuit happened, and there was plenty of evidence to back it up.

Can't the district attorney or something still open an investigation on him even with the settlement?

she doesn't have to do **** she doesn't want, this is about HER abuse, trauma and livelihood.. :biblio: NO ONE stood up for her all this time why should she want to fight the system? the worst part is I feel like the ppl who are clearly disappointed this is "over" just wanted to learn more about their lives and drag it out for their own entertainment which would ultimately end up with Diddy and his powerful team smearing her character and people shaming her as well all the way through (even if she had lots of evidence and won -- which would ultimately end in a paycheck as well, seeing as this wasn't a criminal case) so I'm VERY glad it isn't being prolonged for her safety and healing and we didn't get to that (even if the hate is sadly always inevitable, especially when it comes to women.) I wish her the absolute best and hope she lives her best life with her beautiful family doing whatever she wants to do! he's going to rot in the deep pits of hell and hopefully sooner rather than later.

This is a truly awful thing to say about a victim, you don't get to dictate what justice looks like to her and whatever his actions are moving forward is on him not her. Imagine asking a victim to relive their trauma all over again because of people's entertainment and what they deem justice

Happy for her but I'm sad this monster is still able to do his thing...

More is definitely coming from this. Diddy is over. Cassie did what needed to be done to his reputation and the floodgates have been opened. When you're evil to everyone around you, the truth always comes out. What's done in the dark eventually comes to light.

He essentially admitted that he committed everything that was laid down in the lawsuit, if he has other victims which I'm sure he has, this could open a door for all of them to come forward. If anything, the only problem I find is that this didn't get the exposure it needed for it to spread and make a huge splash in the media.

Nothing like buying your way out of rape and abuse!

I’m glad this didn’t go to trial so there was no chance of him weaseling his way out of it. he did that s**t. Vile.

Cassie honey I hope you have a very worryfree and gorgeous life. Your classics will always be playing in this household!

And if any celebs/artists hang around Diddy after this, then they are willingly deciding to. And it should affect the bag negatively. Because you know what the f*** is up!!!!

Cassie deserves the world and more - She really wasted the best years of her life under his thumb

Hope more is revealed shortly, because it shouldn't be so easy to evade your problems - Especially when they're this serious.

As I understand it, this was a civil lawsuit. A settlement was the only way to solve the issue. They have left the case open for criminal court, and he may very well be accused of things criminally, eventually.
