Tbh fat shaming is probably the lightest of the types of tweets we've seen unearthed by some celebs (although his are tinged with misogyny which makes them pretty damn bad). Anyone know how old he was when some of these were made? I know fat shaming was more common place back then but if he was over the age of 20 it really isn't ok tbh...he needs to apologize. I dont think he should be canceled but he does need to write like a statement

Those pointing out the hypocrisy, based on forgiving people you inclined to like - I mean, they have a point.

 

I’m on the fence from a cynical PR perspective as to whether or not he should apologize because it would just draw attention to it. The endless think pieces about fat phobia still being accepted have already been written for others’ insults so there’d not really be any new conversation here.

 

i’m going to reserve judgment until I see if this has continued fall out or he decides to address it at all. Pop culture is way too distracted right now with the world falling apart and the medias on Travis and Taylor side so I doubt this will get much traction, but weirder things have happened so who knows.
