The way some of tweets are almost 15 years old.   Surprisingly, people sometimes do continue to grow and mature.

Also in the United States,  popular humor was much more offensive 15 years ago.

 

American society has made some progress about what type of jokes are acceptable. Fatphobic jokes  were all over the place back then. 

 

Most of our favs have worse tweets/jokes from that time period.
