Genuine question for American ATRLers… at what point do we start protesting in the streets about these out of touch CEOs and 0.001%? I feel like it’s gotten to the point it’s so outrageous what we’re putting up with in all industries in and outside of entertainment. The C suite are stealing our money.

Here is the thing: Some writers had contracts and deals that were massive while the day-to-day writers were not getting their minimums.

These deals were so overpaid that people earned millions without creating a single show/film

They know that they can just hide in their multi-million dollar compounds while people protest them in the streets and ultimately nothing will get done. In order to see any meaningful change, we'd have to make sure that every single face-to-face human interaction that they have for weeks or even months is criticizing them and their wealth hoarding. They'd eventually get so irritated and desperate to be left alone that that's the only way we'd get change. That or elect politicians that will actually enact laws that make them pay their fair share. But I don't have that much faith in the American electorate
