AvadaKedavra Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 (edited) Thats what he gets for attacking-downplaying-shading Colombian artists like Shakira,Karol G,Balvin. Karma is real and it comes for you i find real sad how so many puerto ricans reggaetoneros are lately so hateful to colombian-argentinian-mexican urban stars They want all the cake for themselves and they been able to crossover cause they have the support of the industry as an American Territory. They also appropiated Black Culture....so they cant talk about apropiation of other countries. Recently another star from there attacked Shakira. Baby rasta. There's already 3 with Residente,Bunny. Jealousy much? We are latino brothers. We should be supportin our industries instead of fighting Bad Bunny been showing his problematic side and shitty attitude in the last two years. Glad he doesnt have the same power as before. The "Soy como ustedes-soy del pueblo" facade. We can see through it. Here in my country he was played all the time everywhere and massive and after the kendall thing-cellphone situation-his tone deaf racism interview people just dont care about him anymore. I hear more that guy Duki or Feid or Peso Pluma now or Toshika-Rosalia Edited November 11, 2023 by AvadaKedavra 1 1

I do agree with you though that Bad Bunny needs to be called out especially since he tried to deny colorism was a real thing in the latin community. He pissed off a lot of afro-latinos and I don't recall him ever apologizing for that. It's the sole reason why afro latinos like my dominican friend can't even stomach to listen to his music anymore. It may sound sensitive but it's understandable why someone would stray away to listen to an artist that denies their experience with colorism.
mxoonlight Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 The way I’m not fluent in Spanish at all and even I can tell the songwriting is abysmal I would be mad too
Joyride Posted November 11, 2023 Posted November 11, 2023 the lyrics were written by a random chilean guy by the way. it was just for fun but it blew up.

I do speak Spanish and if he had actually released this song people wouldn't have called it his best, but they also wouldn't have questioned it was his songwriting. A ese burro deja y monta este noble corcel, te hago saltar más que Anabelle. Parecía góspel, repitiendo 'Ay Dios mío', amén. No juego tenis, ni golf; pero voy a su open. References to sex, English-Spanish code-switching, usage of Puerto Rico regionalisms, and a shut out to recent pop culture. It's not the robot's/the random guy's fault the songwriting is easy to imitate. Edited November 12, 2023 by Life Savers 1

Why is he calling “fake” the fans or people that like the song? Honestly it’s a bop. And it’s no secret that his album is underperforming. Sure it’s not as commercial as his past ones but the main criticism is that his sound and lyricism has not evolved a little. It’s funny seeing artists pull the “art not the charts” card the minute they start flopping. He’s just throwing tantrums cause his image has taken a toll and the numbers are following the same trend. he could’ve embraced it and go viral himself like Eladio Carrion who is even performing live his AI viral song. Because it’s wrong. People who listen to AI produced music should be stoned Edited November 12, 2023 by barbiegrande 2
