It shows how out of touch they are

To be fair, they always are and have been.

I have faith in a lot of the American people though (not all, but quite a lot) :clap3:a lot has changed in the last 20 years

Anyone in the world with an ounce of humanity, decency, and compassion left in them will demand an immediate ceasefire.

A shocking reality to the Dems who are complicit in war crimes and support them.

It’s more shocking that they’re shocked :deadbanana4:

Like they’re openly supporting genocide and expect their voters to just be like, “Oh yea sure that seems okay!”

The government is supposed to reflect the wants of the people, this should’ve been solved weeks ago and the ceasefire should have been imminent, if they don’t listen to the people that got them elected, it’s time to Marie Antoinette some of these frauds :fan:

Nothing that new messaging can’t fix. They should hire more consulting firms to change the meaning of genocide into something positive.

Do they think we forgot about the aftermath of 9/11?

they never listen to what the people want. This is why the democratic party will keep having more and more disenchanted ppl unless they really get their ish together. That said, the alternative is deff worse but still...it's time democrats understand that their constituents want them to veer a little more left. You dont have to skew all the way far left..just budge that wig a little to the side ma...like come on now....

This is just not true, lol. The government is meant to serve the ruling class and they are doing just that with this whole situation. The government is acting as it should, hence the disconnect between them and the people (which has always happened and it's not some brand new phenomenon like the tweet in the OP is suggesting). :gaycat6:

The disconnect between their voters and their donators couldn't be more different. Shocking!

No ceasefire before all hostages are home get that into your minds.

You are blind if you think Israel is going to stop leveling Gaza and killing civilians even if Hamas give up every last bit of leverage they have. :dies:

If Israel wanted to level Gaza they would’ve done it in literally 2 hours 10 years ago and it wouldn’t require a single blood shed from its soldiers and you know it.

"If the hostages aren't brought home, we'll kill them ourselves!"

Zionism is a disease. :rip:

They haven't done so because they would have had to worry about the US backing off and not providing an umbrella of deterrence to keep other Arab nations from jumping their bones. :dies:

They wouldn't have had to worry about that under Trump of course, but they were probably content with the constant psychological torture they've subjected the Palestinians to.

You seem proud of the thousands of civilians killed by the Israelis though, praising the IDF for their show of force in their collective punishment campaign in the other thread. You  actually seem so unabashed in how shameless you are that I'm impressed.

Where are the hostages? In Gaza.

What place are you defending the bombing of? Gaza.

If you bomb hostages, they die. I shouldn't have to explain this to you.

Bomb + hostage = ???

The IDF has intelligence where the hostages are held at this point which is why they managed to rescue one last week.

Why would Israel bomb its own civilians?? They don’t use them as human shields like the other side :rip:

it is pretty shocking how quickly the American public has turned against Israel, especially given the PR chokehold Israel and its advocates have had for decades over policy, politicians, and even what’s considered acceptable discourse.

This has definitely been a long time coming but I do think Sheikh Jarrah marked a real turning point.
