Houdini doesn’t really go anywhere. I like the instrumental but the track is bland. (It’s out there in full)

DSN is more complex as a song. Houdini is good, but isn't great.

 

I expected more from Dua this time, but there are some other MPGs repackaging the same aesthetic from previous eras, so even the slight change in the sound is a win on pop music.

I still remember playing DSN for the first time and thinking it was kinda meh and then it just slowly started growing on me and it is now definitely one of my fave songs from her. We'll see how it goes with this one (I'm not listening to leaks)

i don't dislike Houdini but Don't Start Now felt more like a lead than Houdini does.

I actually really loved Houdini! DSN was more instant but this will be a grower for sure! The chorus is pretty catchy and it’s different enough from FN while still be very much on brand for Dua!

For now I will say DSN, it feels like Houdini is a bunch of genres smashed together into one song and with DSN Dua knew exactly what she wanted the song to convey.

At first listen, Houdini - it's just instant for me

 

DSN is one of those songs you like and think sounds good at first listen, but don't fully love it until you listen to it a few more time
