Grave, hurt my feelings, guilty conscience are my fave top 3 non singles so far. Overall 8/10 for me. No skips for me, and stronger than her debut for sure. I expect album 3 to be full of bops though.

Almost perfect album, Stay Down is the only gurl I wouldn't let come over to my house.

It’s a pretty solid album. Much better than the other recent Gen Z girlies with GUTS or Scarlet. Wonder if Dua and Billie will deliver

we're not alike feels so out of place on the tracklist ngl, the guts reject comparisons were definitely kinda spot on but i'm not mad at the song itself

 

it's alot more solid than her debut for sure, hopefully there are some more bops on the deluxe. i feel like rfft, we're not alike, guilty conscience, hmf maybe grave are the only album tracks i'll come back to regularly. an improvement from her debut though where i only use you're so cool once in a while

Solid album. It seems like it was primarily made for her long time fans and that’s probably smarter than to change her whole sound entirely to chase a new audience. I think Tate has so much potential as a song writer. She has a good ear for melodies.

4 star reviews from NME and Financial Times in the UK - already avoiding total critical flop status! This is a cute album from a 20 year old. Is it reinventing the wheel? No. Is it still an enjoyable pop album? Yes. She will only get better with time and life experience.
