Truly the blueprint for tiktok promo I fear.

 

This second era of hers is how Poster Girl should've been treated but like usual Epic fumbled the bag.

Excited to hear this since I loved her last album.

I’m rooting for her. I respect an artist who can overcome being a label’s kick off of another singer and find their own identity. Her voice is also kind of a less annoying version of Camila’s. Lol

I mean SOS was released in December and it's still doing well. There isn't any major releases in the coming weeks in terms of albums, so her team is taking advantage of the greedy hype

I expressed this concern in another thread but I really do wonder what going more pop will mean for her existing fanbase that stanned her cause she was mostly a Billie/Olivia clone, though I'm glad she's starting to lean out of that and truly embrace the popstar stuff.

i'm sure there will still be ballads on the album that will keep that audience satisfied while she aims for bigger GP acknowledgement, however her core base still seems invested in her as an artist judging by her TikTok snippets success. She's mostly maintained a balance of midtempo bops since the beginning of her career (She's All I Wanna Be, You, Working, Vicious, Don't Come Back) along with her ballads, so Greedy not being a total sonic departure will help her in the long term rather than completely alienating her base.

Honestly hope this is a collection of streaming ready bops with some charts not the arts collabs. Give us a Better Mistakes etc.

I'm excited to hear her album but I won't be looking for her on tour.

She's still in that ' Im such a dancer in my music videos ' but her performances

literally aren't because she decides to sing more than perform.

shes could really be gen z’s first true POPSTAR. whereas billie and olivia have more of a songwriter persona to them, it looks like tate is embracing the dancing popstar persona of the 90s and 00s.

 

lets hope the album can back that up bc there is a space for her if she stepped up to it!

as long as she goes all out in the videos, the public will associate her w dancing thankfully 

 

but jeez yeah she needs to start lipsyncing and just go all out dancing at some point in the tour. would be such a huge missed opportunity not to
