run for the hills - easily a highlight, wish it was longer and exploded at the end

hurt my feelings - camila vocals are strong on this one, still a bop. this song is very short though to the point its serving interlude

stay done - first snooze / skip

grave - hmm... not sure how to feel about this one

we're not alike - boring asf. this is another skip hunni

calgary - top 3 on the album, my fave ballad

messier - back to childish ballads, this is not good

think later - yaaassssss this is a really cute & sassy number. ariana like that (jada) coded. i can also see BLACKPINK singing this lol

guilty conscience - cute lil bop, middle of the line

want that too - not the best but not the worst ballad here, it has potential to grow on me

plastic palm trees - a disappointing note to end the album on ngl.

 

 

overall, this is more of a mixed bag than I wanted it to be. It's clear RCA said throw more ballads on here to pander to the Olivia / billie stans instead of completely alienating them with bops only. I hope she finally picks a lane and steps into her own with the next album.

I’m not really a ballad fan unless it’s strong vocals. Hopefully this can just be her break through area commercially and TM3 can be more pop.
