I've heard of this before but it's normally for your spouse/partner/a friend...not your child :rip:

Christians are weird. It actually is pretty normal for Christian men to admit that they have a porn addiction and to work on steps to end it (I guess it is the least bad thing they’ve done that they are willing to admit to their church)

But doing this with your 17 year old son is disgusting

Covenant Eyes works the same as parental settings, but with mutual consent. It’s mainly for people who have a mild or severe *****graphy addiction. There’s nothing wrong with this app because all parties consent to be each other’s accountability partners. Outside of Covenant Eyes, parents are already allowed to prohibit their children from accessing adult content. This is nothing new.

I don't think there's a problem with monitoring your child's internet usage, imo and all parents should have some kind of parental controls over their children's devices. But his report being sent to his son is a weird amount of responsibility to put on a 17 year old. Why should it be his son's responsibility to hold him accountable for his internet usage.

NAWT the son being 17 :deadbanana2: Imagine getting a report on your dad's porn activities as a teenager from some third party service?? :deadbanana2:

This is literally giving real life:

Dr. Alexander

I keep telling y’all them conservatives are the most hypocritical ones. I worked in the Deep South at a gym for a few years each Summer while I was in college and the men, married and single, used to be in the sauna jerking off together, f******, and so much more.

Maybe his son just wanted to look out for his dad in an honest way? It’s similar to how children will call their parents out for excessively smoking or drinking, but Covenant Eyes makes it more amicable because both parties agree to the terms of accountability. I don’t know their family history but sometimes *****graphy addictions can be destructive to marriages and lead to an unhealthy objectification of others. Maybe they’re just trying to work towards healthier habits and better treatment of others. :michael:
