Legendary.

Innovative.

Visionary.

Extraordinary.

@supaspaz

You could disregard her own catalog and pull a mic drop moment for One in a Million, I care 4 u,  Steelo, So gone, or Free Yourself

She shut that shit down. I’m so proud of her.

A Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction being meaningless? Especially for the first female rapper to do it? BYE!

Really deserved accomplishment to be the first female rapper in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. Paving the path for everyone else!

I don't know. This is supposed to be rock and roll. Nowadays all these none rock and roll people bombarded every year.

The meaning and honor of it is long gone.

It's non related. Just recording companies robby ground it seems. What's the point of doing it? Just continuing the annual news and media press?

I don't know. No more authority or rock and roll tradition.

Whata does rap have to do with rock and roll anyway??? All of a sudden  Rock and roll becomes rap and hip hop since when????

Since when rap was rock and roll???

I have no idea.

Quite laughable and very embarrassing.

Disgrace to both genres.

Bye.

I feel like there's something we don't know about her disappearance (besides her disease). She's a legend regardless but if she hadn't become largely inactive at her peak she could've been even more successful.

Crazy to think her last album was released nearly 20 years ago?

With this logic, Madonna shouldn’t be in the Hall Of Fame either.

Rock N Roll Hall of Fame encapsulates the attitude and boundary pushing

Not only just madonna but also so many other acts over the years.

I wouldn't mind all of them had had not won.

Or they could change the title. The music hall of fame.

Though Madonna had some rock elements through her album and songs and enjoys the rock version of performances in her concerts over the years. Her music is nothing far from the rock and roll. No stranger.

But rap and hiphop artists have none of the rock and roll. The most further from the genre.

The rock and roll is overused even to the hip hop and rap today.

I think they better change the title to fit in better. That would work more properly.

You know that people like James Brown, ABBA, George Michael, Donna Summer, Marvin Gaye, Eminem, Kraftwerk are all in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, some of them for many years, and none of them do rock ?
