I love Selena so much, but lately, she has been very bitter about everything and is serving aunty. It's particularly crazy because she's close to billionaire status. If I had all that money, I would hire a social media manager to send me-show me only the positive content while I'm in a five-star hotel at Disney World or a Mediterranean Island, enjoying life  

She's also constantly comparing herself to others and seems very insecure. Sometimes, I feel like the Lupus disease and the medication she takes for it have taken a toll on her mental health, as the Selena from the early 2010s was very different and carefree? 

Girl ignore the haters. Why u give them so much attention? Focus on the love instead lmfao.

It's truly sad though, to see her have these moments that people weaponize against her, when we all know the mental struggles she has with a really serious diagnosis which explains a few of the actions she has. Nonetheless, as a HUGE Selena Gomez fan, I still have to say that this disappointed me, and was a pretty childish move. Not at all what I would expect from her, the kind, mature, and intelligent woman we know her for.

 

It's not the mistake that pisses me off, it's the way this now impulsive behavior compromises any growth, learning and additional statements she could and should do. The "dumbest" people aren't the ones that don't know stuff, but the ones that don't want to learn said stuff, and she, in this case, really fell onto the second part of that phrase.
