livelikemusic Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 I am ALL for more Ryan Gosling and some Emily Blunt!!
Popboi. Posted November 2, 2023 Posted November 2, 2023 I am sat. Really thought it would be delayed as filming didn’t end that long ago.

I think they must have confidence in the material, the landscape around that time is also quite empty so there is no reason to delay. March is also far enough that the strike may end by then, they could do a interview promo blitz in February and it will be fine.
NoAngelus Posted March 12 Posted March 12 Someone edit date in title New posters were just released I hope movie does well, but apparently budget was 150m or something so...

Twisters: $200M // It's just a movie about tornados Joker 2: $200M Deadpool & Wolverine: $250M Gladiator 2: $310M They never f*cking learn.

Yeah I don't understand budget behind the movie, especially with the stars involved. Bullet Train had budget of $80m and grossed almost $250m with Brad being box office draw and that was still considered disappointing. It debuted with 94% on RottenTomatoes. https://www.rottentomatoes.com/m/the_fall_guy_2024
Rocket Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Saw this yesterday. It was FINE. I smell a bomb though. The first half of the movie dragged. It definitely could have been cut by like 30 mins. Hannah Waddingham was the worst thing about the entire film.
Roxasvos Posted April 27 Posted April 27 Absolutely loved this movie! Ryan and Emily got great chemistry. So much action and fun moments! 1
NoAngelus Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I also really loved the movie. I had lowered my expectations going in because after The Grey Man and Barbie I really wanted Ryan in something serious again, and I knew this was not gonna be The Nice Guys 2.0 so I was like let's just enjoy it for what it is. And first act did test me, it was too slow, but once it got going I was really into it, had so much fun. Ryan was actually very convincing as an action star in this one (unlike in TGM) and the rest of the cast was great. I remember pics from the shooting with Ryan and Stephanie hanging in the park with the dog, so that was actually them having private time together and not shooting a movie, so cute
CosTaSsSs Posted April 27 Posted April 27 I saw the trailer when I watched Back to Black and it looked so good!
TeamThiem Posted April 27 Posted April 27 This looks like something that would be released on Apple TV streaming. Not a theater-release type of film.

Hector Posted May 4 Posted May 4 This was so much fun. Loved the comedy and the action scenes and how meta the movie was at times. Just like in Barbie, Ryan was a delight here and Emily Blunt was great as Jody, the director. Her karaoke scene was great. And that ending credits scene, well done
Bhabylon Posted May 4 Posted May 4 Saw this last night, it was so tepid, predictable and Netflix'd cannot believe it's at 83 on rotten tomatoes 1

Mr. Duff Posted May 6 Posted May 6 It's really good, I love the music. And it didn't feel dragging. I was entertained all the way. Ryan and Emily has intense chemistry! They really look great together.
