People always think I'm weird whenever I say I'm listening to music. That's it; that's the activity. I have my headphones on and am listening to an album. There isn't enough time in the day to listen to all that I want to listen to.

 

If anything, though, I feel like music amplifies life and gives it a somewhat more tangible memorable anchor. There's a reason why people have wedding songs, for example.

 

I understand what he's saying, and I feel like it's largely misguided.
